This week in prayer

Readings and prayers for Sunday December 25, Christmas Day, and the following week:  

We pray for our interim priest, Peter Parker, and for our next incumbent, Allen Doerksen. In our diocesan cycle of prayer, we pray for:  Anna, our bishop;  the people of Christ Church Cathedral, Victoria, and the Cathedral clergy, Jeannine Friesen, Ross Bliss & Ian Powell; the clergy and people of the Diocese of Caledonia, and Bishop David Lehmann.

This week in the Anglican Church of Canada cycle of prayer, we pray for Director Joe Vecsi and the staff of Communications and Information Resources; Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer Amal Attia and the staff of Financial Management and Administration.

In the Anglican Council of Indigenous Peoples cycle of prayer,  we pray for Indigenous Peoples in the Diocese of Ontario.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for  The Anglican Church of Melanesia.
