All aboard the St Philip Meal Traina new opportunity to help each other out There are times in our community when we wonder what we can do to help out if someone has had surgery, or there’s been a death in the family, or a new baby arrives. Whatever the reason, one way to help is with providing a meal. When there’s a need we are going to use an online meal calendar tool called Meal Train that makes planning meals among a large group easier. We’ve used it in the past, and it works well for organizing. If you would like to participate in providing meals when needed, please sign up on the sheet in the narthex. You will receive a Meal Train email that will have a link to the page of the meal recipient that gives information about dietary restrictions or requests, their address, and any special details. For questions or more information, contact Karen Fenimore, 250-508-2498, karenfenimore@gmail.com |

Street Hope Victoria - Christmas appeal
From Shoeboxes to Bags: Every year because of your kindness, SHV gives out Christmas shoeboxes to people who are living their lives on or around Pandora. Because of your generosity we gave out over double the Christmas shoeboxes from the year previous – thank you so much for this! This year, instead of asking for shoeboxes we’d love to give out drawstring bags with goodies wrapped in Christmas paper inside. The deadline for our Christmas appeal this year is Thursday 7th December. We’ll be giving out the presents on the 11th and 18th of December. Thank you for your support! In Christ, Deborah Moyo, Outreach Director, Street Hope Victoria For more infomation visit: http://stphilipvictoria.ca/news/street-hope-victoria-christmas-appeal
