This week in prayer

Prayers and readings for Sunday 19 July 2026 and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for our event coordinators.

This week our diocese prays for the people of  Christ Church Cathedral, Victoria , and its clergy, Jonathan Thomas, Anna Rossi, and Ian Powell.

In our ecclesiastical province's cycle of prayer, we pray for the Diocese of Kootenay and Bishop Lynne McNaughton.

We continue to hold the community of Tumbler Ridge in our prayers.  

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for The Most Rev. Greg Kerr-Wilson, Archbishop, and the clergy and people of the Diocese of Calgary.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for the Province of the Episcopal Church
of Sudan.

Collect:  O God, patient and forbearing, strengthen our spirit when we are slow and temper our zeal when we are rash, so that in your own good time you may produce in us a rich harvest from the seed you have sown and tended; through Jesus Christ, the promise of a new creation.  Amen.
