This week in prayer

Prayers and readings for Sunday 2 August 2026 and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for the home groups.

This week our diocese prays for the people of  St Paul, Nanaimo, and their incumbent, Vernon Foster.

In our ecclesiastical province's cycle of prayer, we pray for Diocese of Yukon and Bishop Vincent Fenga.

We continue to hold the community of Tumbler Ridge in our prayers.  

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for The Rt. Rev. Lydia Mamakwa, The Rt. Rev. Larry Beardy, and the Rt. Rev. Morris Fidler, Bishops, and the clergy and people of the Spiritual Ministry of Mishamikoweesh.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Church of the Province
of Uganda.

Collect:  God beyond all seeing and knowing, we meet you in the night of change and crisis and wrestle with you in darkness and doubt. Give us the will and spirit to live faithfully and to love as we are loved, through Jesus Christ, your Son.  Amen.
