Readings and prayers for Sunday 3 December 2023 and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our diocesan cycle of prayer this week, we pray for the people of Two Saints Ministry, Cordova Bay, and their incumbent, Adela Torchia. In our provincial cycle of prayer, we pray for the  clergy and people of the Territory of the People and Bishop-Elect Clara Plamondon. 

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for the Primate, Linda Nicholls, and the people of the Anglican Church of Canada.

In the Anglican Council of Indigenous People cycle of prayer, we pray for Indigenous Archbishop Chris Harper, and for  Indigenous Peoples in the Diocese of New Westminster. 

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Church of North India (United).

Collect:  God of unveiled truth, in times of darkened sun and waning moon, lift up our hearts and waken our love to announce the coming dawn of unexpected peace; through Jesus Christ, the one who is to come. Amen.
