This week in prayer

Prayers and readings for Sunday 7 September, Pentecost 13, and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for all volunteers in our parish and community.

This week our diocese prays for the parish of St Michael & All Angels, Royal Oak, and their interim priest, Paul Schumacher.

In the ecclesiastical provincial cycle of prayer, we pray for the Diocese of Kootenay and Bishop Lynne McNaughton.

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for the theological colleges and training programs within the Ecclesiastical Province of the Northern Lights: Arthur Turner Training School, the Centre for Christian Studies, the College of Emmanuel and St. Chad, Henry Budd College for Ministry, Saint John’s College, Dr. William Winter School for Ministry, James Settee College for Ministry; for the Season of Creation which continues in the month ahead and a renewed commitment to a healthy relationship with the Earth.
