This week in prayer

Prayers and readings for Sunday 12 July 2026 and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for the envelope secretaries & offerings counters.

This week our diocese prays for the parish of St Mary, Nanoose Bay  and their  incumbent, Kirsten Evenden.

In our ecclesiastical province's cycle of prayer, we pray for the Diocese of Caledonia and Bishop David Lehmann.

We continue to hold the community of Tumbler Ridge in our prayers.  

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for The Rt. Rev. Rachael Parker, Bishop, and the clergy and people of the Diocese of Brandon.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for the Province of the Episcopal Church of
South Sudan.

Collect:  Divine Sower, you scatter your seed generously: may we be rich soil and receive your gift so freely given, so that we may revel  in love’s abundant, reckless growth; through Jesus Christ, the grain of life.  Amen. (Prayers for an Inclusive Church (2009) alt.)
