Friends,

As we move into the Easter Season and beyond, I'm excited to announce our next book study adventure, a book by James K. A. Smith titled "On the Road With Saint Augustine: A Real World Spirituality for Restless Hearts." Following up on our challenging and successful study of Mark Heim's "Saved From Sacrifice," comes this book about a "spirituality for all of life."  This book offers something for everyone; it is not as challenging as Heim's book, but it is rich in content and will make for an excellent dialogue partner on the journey in front of us.  The chapters are shorter than Heim as well.  What follows is a proposed schedule.  I'm just outlining the first nine weeks (out of fourteen) at this stage.  The book study will be offered in a similar format to the Heim book, a Wednesday evening group and a Thursday morning group which will happen after the Eucharist:
