Last year our parish initiated a "pre-budget process" in which parishioners gathered to hear information and ask questions about the state of St. Philip's finances and possible budget goals for the following year.  The aim of this process was to align with the normal, indeed, diocesan standard, for all communication, input, and decision-making re: the budget, which calls for all "toing and froing" to happen before the Annual Vestry.  This type of communication eliminates "surprises" and allows for the budget presented at Vestry to be subjected to a simple "yay" or "nay" vote.
This coming Sunday, November 2nd, there will be an opportunity for parishioners to listen to our Treasurer provide a financial update and ask questions as they arise..  Our aim will be to start at around 11:30 and finish by 12 pm.  This will allow parishioners to have coffee and visit after the service.  The meeting will take place upstairs.  We hope many of you will be able to come.
