Mary’s Song – What is your song? Reflections for Advent
An invitation to an online Quiet Day for Associates, Oblates and Friends
Led by Sister Doreen, SSJD
Our reflections during the Quiet day will be based on the Magnificat, which is Mary’s Song: and our journey during the day will be a reflection on learning to sing our own Magnificat, our own Song.
Perhaps it will be a step towards a new Song in our life, for as our lives change, and our circumstances change, from our own deepest desires we are often singing with the Psalmist “how can I sing a new song in an alien land?”. So, we will walk with Mary during the day, and try to glean from her some insights, some encouragement, some challenge.
This is a ZOOM Quiet Day, offered twice: November 26 or December 3, 2022, 9:00 am – 2:30 pm PST

When you register you will receive a meditative index with some information and scripture readings to ponder and pray over in preparation for the Quiet Day.
Zoom information with the link for accessing the Zoom Quiet Day along with time zone information and handouts for the Quiet Day will be sent out after the registration deadline.
