This week in prayer

Prayers and readings for Sunday 13 September 2026 and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for the Sunday worship music teams.

This week our diocese prays for Two Saints Ministry (St Peter Lake Hill & St David by the Sea Cordova Bay) and their incumbent, Heather Robinson.

This week our ecclesiastical province prays for the Territory of the People and Bishop Clara Plamondon.

The Anglican Church of Canada prays for The Most Rev. John Stephens, Metropolitan, and the clergy and people of the Ecclesiastical Province of British Columbia and Yukon.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia.

Collect:  God of debts forgiven, you call to account our hunger for power; you disturb hierarchies which crush the weak: break the vicious cycles of revenge and domination that we might look to him whose mercy never ends, Jesus Christ our redeemer. Amen.
