Hold the date! Syrian Fund Raiser Dinner

Does it break your heart to see so many people in so many countries suffering from poverty and hungry? Thanks to St Philip’s connection with Mar Elias Maronite church in Rablah, Syria, we can make a difference in that community. We will be holding a fundraiser dinner on Sept 27. Details to follow soon, but please hold the date to support our brothers and sisters in Rablah.
Syria is undergoing great uncertainty and has experienced 300% inflation over the past two years. Ninety percent of all Syrians live below the poverty line. Our sister church Mar Elias works to help provide food and accommodation for the poor in the community in addition to support for medical care. They serve both the Christian and Muslim residents of the city. 100% of all donations raised will go to Syria, but please note that as this is not a registered Canadian charity, tax receipts cannot be issued.
