in support of Vancouver Island Counselling Centre for Immigrants and Refugees
Sunday, March 15 at 7:00 PM
St John the Divine Anglican Church, 1611 Quadra St
The evening will feature Jordie and Habbous (Arabic music) and Kvell’s Angels (Klezmer music), offering a vibrant program that spans cultures, time, and place — from entrancing melodies to high-energy celebration.
Admission is by donation ($20 suggested), with all proceeds supporting Vancouver Island Counselling Centre for Immigrants and Refugees (VICCIR)’s vital work. As a federally registered charity, VICCIR provides trauma-informed mental health counselling to immigrants and refugees living on Vancouver Island. With sliding-scale fees, specially trained interpreters, and a commitment that no one is turned away due to financial hardship, VICCIR helps newcomers reduce the impact of trauma, build resilience, and participate fully in the communities that welcome them.
Those unable to attend are encouraged to support VICCIR through a direct donation: https://www.viccir.org/donate
