Christ Church Cathedral Choir Camp:
Dates: Monday, August 22 to Friday, August 26 , 9am-1.15pm + Sunday, August 28 afternoon service.
For: children aged 8 to 10.

This summer’s Cathedral Choir Camp promises to be a week filled with singing, musical games, physical activity, and friendship.
Based in the beautiful surroundings and acoustics of Christ Church Cathedral, campers will work in both large and small groups, learning to sing two pieces, one of which will be “We don’t talk about Bruno” from “Encanto” and the other a piece of sacred classical music. They will also be introduced to basic music reading and choral rehearsal skills.
Donald Hunt, the Cathedral's director of music, will be leading the singing, cathedral’s own regular choristers and professional adult musicians will lend musical support, and camp leaders will lead the games and activities.
Activities to include a scavenger hunt, a visit from SKAM theatre, and a trip out for ice cream. The week will culminate with campers singing in an afternoon service in the Cathedral on Sunday, August 28.
