We are a family from Ukraine, living in Victoria for three years. I am a mother of two daughters, 38 years old, with a law degree. In the past, I worked as a secretary in a construction company and was the director of a children’s development center. Currently, I work as a pastry cook in one of the best restaurants in Victoria.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, practicing yoga, going for walks, and cooking — the kitchen is a way for me to be creative and care for my family.
My daughters:
- Older daughter — first-year UVIC student
- Younger daughter — finishing middle school and is a member of the provincial rhythmic gymnastics team.
We are very tidy, calm, and clean, and we respect the home and the people who trust us with their space. We don’t smoke and have no bad habits.
What we are looking for:
- a nice, clean, and bright place to live;
- min.2 bedrooms;
- long-term rental.
- move in date 1 January 2026 or asap after that
As I am raising my children on my own, I cannot afford full market rent, so I am looking for a place around $1500 per month.
At the same time, I am happy to help out as a thank-you for the rent:
- cleaning,
- grocery shopping,
- helping with household chores,
- walking or caring for pets,
- organizing the space.
We are a calm, grateful, and hardworking family looking for a home where it will be warm and welcoming.
