This week in prayer

Readings and prayers for Sunday December 11, the Third Sunday in Advent, and the following week:  

We pray for our interim priest, Peter Parker, and for our next incumbent, Allen Doerksen. In our diocesan cycle of prayer, we pray for:  Anna, our bishop;  the parish of Holy Trinity, North Saanich, and their incumbent, Paul Schumacher; Bishop Lesley Wheeler-Dame and the clergy and people of the Diocese of Yukon.

This week in the Anglican Church of Canada cycle of prayer, we pray for The Venerable Alan Perry, General Secretary, and the staff of the General  Secretary’s Office; Melanie Delva, Reconciliation Animator; Dawn Maracle,  Animator, Indigenous Justice – Interim.

In the Anglican Council of Indigenous Peoples cycle of prayer,  we pray for Indigenous Peoples in the Diocese of Nova Scotia.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Anglican Church of Kenya .
