Readings and prayers for Sunday December 18, the Fourth Sunday in Advent, and the following week:  

We pray for our interim priest, Peter Parker, and for our next incumbent, Allen Doerksen. In our diocesan cycle of prayer, we pray for:  Anna, our bishop;  the parish of S. John the Divine, Courtenay & S. Andrew, Sandwick, and their clergy, Alastair Hunting & Marion Edmondson; the people and clergy of the Territory of the People, and their Interim Bishop ,Jane Alexander.

This week in the Anglican Church of Canada cycle of prayer, we pray for The Rev. Dr. Eileen Scully, Director, and the staff of Faith, Worship, and Ministry; Sheilagh  McGlynn, Youth Ministries Animator; the Rev. Canon Dr. Scott Sharman, Animator for  Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations.

In the Anglican Council of Indigenous Peoples cycle of prayer,  we pray for the Indigenous Theological Training Institute for their work in ministry development and publication of the First Peoples Theology Journal.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Anglican Church of Korea.
