Readings and prayers for Sunday 26 November 2023 and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our diocesan cycle of prayer this week, we pray for the people of Trinity Anglican + Lutheran, Port Alberni, and their incumbent, Brenda Nestegaard-Paul. In our provincial cycle of prayer, we pray for the  clergy and people of the Diocese of Yukon and Bishop Lesley Wheeler-Dame. 

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for the members of the Joint Anglican-Lutheran Commission

In the Anglican Council of Indigenous People cycle of prayer, we pray for Indigenous Archbishop Chris Harper, and for  the Rev. Dr. Paul Reynolds, General Secretary for the Anglican Indigenous Network.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion).

Collect:  Destitute king, one with the hungry, the naked, and the scorned:  may our faith be proved not in dogma and piety  but in serving you in the last and the least;  through Jesus Christ, the stranger’s Lord.  Amen.
