Prayers and readings for Sunday 25 May and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop; Allen, our rector; and Rebecca, our deacon. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for the music leadership teams.

This week our diocese prays for the parish of St John the Baptist, Duncan, and their incumbent, Brian Evans.

In the ecclesiastical provincial cycle of prayer, we pray for the Diocese of Kootenay and Bishop Lynne McNaughton.

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for The Rt. Rev. Shane Parker, Bishop, and the people and clergy of the Diocese of Ottawa. On this Jerusalem and the Holy Land Sunday we pray for The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land, The Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem, and for peace in the Middle East.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Anglican Church of Kenya.

Collect: Holy One, you breathe the word of love and the promise of new creation 117 into the secret places of our lives. Teach us the costly way of fearless love and priceless peace; through Jesus Christ, who dwells in us.  Amen. (Prayers for an Inclusive Church (2009) alt.)
