This week in prayer

Prayers and readings for Sunday 30 November, the first Sunday in Advent, and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for event coordinators.

This week our diocese prays for the people of St Saviour, Cortes Island.

In our ecclesiastical province's cycle of prayer, we pray for the Diocese of Yukon .

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for The Primate Archbishop Shane Parker and the staff of the Primate’s Office of the Anglican Church of Canada.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Anglican Church of Australia.

Collect:  Almighty God,  as your kingdom dawns, turn us from the darkness of sin to the light of holiness, so that we may be ready to meet you in our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.
