This week in prayer

Readings and prayers for Sunday September 4 (Pentecost 13) and the following week:  

 In our daily diocesan cycle of prayer we pray for Anna, our bishop; for the people of Christ Church, Gabriola Island, and their minister Karen Hollis.  

In the cycle of prayer of our ecclesiastical Province of BC & Yukon, we pray this week for the people and clergy of the Diocese of Kootenay and their bishop, Archbishop Lynne McNaughton.  

In the Anglican Church of Canada cycle of prayer this week, we pray for the theological colleges and training programs within the Ecclesiastical Province of Rupert’s Land: Arthur Turner Training School, the Centre for Christian Studies, the College of Emmanuel and St. Chad, Henry Budd College for Ministry, Saint John’s College, Dr. William Winter School for Ministry, James Settee College for Ministry.

In the worldwide Anglican Communion daily cycle of prayer, we pray for The Anglican Church of Australia.
