NEW: Sunday Morning Community Prayers
Anyone who wishes to drop in at 9 AM on a Sunday morning is welcome to gather downstairs in the youth room to pray together for our church community, led by Ruth. Praying together is probably the most obvious and maybe most powerful thing we can do! We depend on God's wisdom and blessing for this community to flourish. If you're coming to church on Sunday morning, please consider staying half an hour later or coming a half hour early, to spend time in prayer for God's direction for our community. - Ruth McGhee and Fr. Allen For more infomation visit: http://stphilipvictoria.ca/events/community-prayers/2023-11-19

Street Hope Victoria - Christmas appeal
From Shoeboxes to Bags: Every year because of your kindness, SHV gives out Christmas shoeboxes to people who are living their lives on or around Pandora. Because of your generosity we gave out over double the Christmas shoeboxes from the year previous – thank you so much for this! This year, instead of asking for shoeboxes we’d love to give out drawstring bags with goodies wrapped in Christmas paper inside. The deadline for our Christmas appeal this year is Thursday 7th December. We’ll be giving out the presents on the 11th and 18th of December. Thank you for your support! In Christ, Deborah Moyo, Outreach Director, Street Hope Victoria For more infomation visit: http://stphilipvictoria.ca/news/street-hope-victoria-christmas-appeal

2024 Church calendars
For those wondering what's happened to the Anglican Church photo calendar for the coming year - it's a good question. We usually placed orders in September, but there's been no announcement that it's ready to order this year. Although it's finally advertised (November), so far it's not available to buy on the national church web shop. Enquiries to the shop company and the church publications office have gone unanswered. But the calendar has been compiled and is print-ready: CLICK HERE for all 12 calendar pages with colour photos and liturgical notations & colours. NB not full resolution. Maybe the print copies will be available in the new year? We'll keep you posted... If you're looking for a print alternative, try this calendar from St Peter's Publications in PEI, illustrated with attractive paintings of Anglican churches throughout Canada, $10.00 plus shipping: CLICK HERE For more infomation visit:
