NEW: Sunday Morning Community Prayers
Starting this Sunday, anyone who wishes to drop in at 9 AM on a Sunday morning is welcome to gather downstairs in the youth room to pray together for our church community, led by Ruth. Praying together is probably the most obvious and maybe most powerful thing we can do! We depend on God's wisdom and blessing for this community to flourish. If you're coming to church on Sunday morning, please consider staying half an hour later or coming a half hour early, to spend time in prayer for God's direction for our community. The intention is for this group to meet weekly, though depending on interest, we may change the frequency. Thank you for considering it! - Ruth McGhee and Fr. Allen For more infomation visit: http://stphilipvictoria.ca/events/community-prayers/2023-11-19

All aboard the St Philip Meal Traina new opportunity to help each other out There are times in our community when we wonder what we can do to help out if someone has had surgery, or there’s been a death in the family, or a new baby arrives. One way to help is with providing a meal. We are going to use an online calendar tool for group meal planning called Meal Train. To join in providing meals, please sign up on the sheet in the narthex. For questions or more information, contact Karen, 250-508-2498, karenfenimore@gmail.com - Karen Fenimore |

Street Hope Victoria - Christmas appeal
From Shoeboxes to Bags: Every year because of your kindness, SHV gives out Christmas shoeboxes to people who are living their lives on or around Pandora. Because of your generosity we gave out over double the Christmas shoeboxes from the year previous – thank you so much for this! This year, instead of asking for shoeboxes we’d love to give out drawstring bags with goodies wrapped in Christmas paper inside. The deadline for our Christmas appeal this year is Thursday 7th December. We’ll be giving out the presents on the 11th and 18th of December. Thank you for your support! In Christ, Deborah Moyo, Outreach Director, Street Hope Victoria For more infomation visit: http://stphilipvictoria.ca/news/street-hope-victoria-christmas-appeal
